![]() ![]() Is there a trick to finding the deposits now I have found a few small veins of coal and even fewer nitrate on the surface, but nothing useful in the ways of making gunpowder and such. We have yet to find ANY ore underground aside from one tiny iron deposit. I gave up on A17 before going any further with my bulletfarming methods. We have done tons of mining and continue to at least every 2-3 days between exploring. Im thinking about going down in Alphas just to play around with the game a bit. Cant recall which of the two boulder patches has it but below them along the gravel path is two large veins of Coal and Nitrate side by side. In Navezgane the best spot I know from personal experience is in the valley East-Southeast from the Burnt Forest Trader there are two boulder fields by 3-4 burnt out houses. ![]() (These veins starting at approximately 10-20 blocks below ground, usually around where the dirt ends and the rock begins and continuing on for a long while meandering and seperated by gravel paths.) In most cases you will find what you sample (you will get trace amounts of iron, coal, nitrate etc along with the rock and sand from the gravel) but you can also find other veins in close proximity.
